This dish couldn't be easier! All you need is a handful of ingredients.

The trick is to cook the chopped cabbage in its own juices. To help it do that, we need to salt the cabbage and put on a lid to trap the moisture that it releases.

Continue to cook down the cabbage until it has reduced by about ¾.

2.

While the cabbage cooks down, cook the pasta of your choice.

3.

Add some oil to the cabbage to give it slight browning and to caramelize a little.

4.

Add the pasta to the cabbage and stir well; adjust seasoning.

5.

Mix and serve! Add a generous amount of freshly cracked pepper.

This recipe is perfect for feeding lots of people with very few ingredients. It's a very cheap meal and it's delicious!
