When applying this concept to cooking we want every recipe you create to be an opportunity to celebrate the love of life and being in the present moment.
We’re here to help you create plant-based recipes to love, share, and enjoy with your friends, family, colleagues, or something you make on your next date.
It doesn’t matter if you’re quickly whipping up avocado on toast on a Tuesday morning or crafting gnocchi from scratch on the weekend with your family—every creation is a chance to show love to yourself and to others.
We want to take the feedback from “that’s nice for a vegan meal” to “that’s delicious, I could eat like this all the time!”
Combining a love for cooking with a passion for sharing food with others at mealtime is what Heartful Table is all about.
Hi, I’m Maša, the creator of Heartful Table.
Let me share with you a little bit about myself…
Until the age of eight, my family of six and I lived in a beautiful city called Ljubljana in the small green country of Slovenia. I had a very happy and adventurous childhood. I loved to pick berries in the wild or pinch them from our next-door neighbours garden—which so happened to be nuns!
Eating chestnuts in Autumn from sidewalk hut stalls to picking from an abundance of organic fruits and vegetables at the daily markets in Summer, fresh food was always close by.
My family moved to Australia in 1996 and I’ve lived here ever since. My husband Michael and I (and our dog Chewy) moved to the island state of Tasmania in 2020. Another wonderfully green part of the world!
I’ve always loved food. Before becoming vegan back in 2014, my main focus was local, organic produce. You know, the “ethical” meat and dairy was something I felt very strongly about.
Since then, my passion for food has strengthened even more. I am obsessed with food. I dream about recipes and come up with new ideas all the time.
Being a professional photographer, a health coach, and a recipe developer, I have a strong vision and passion for what I do.
With the start of this journey back in 2015 when Michael and I launched The Minimalist Vegan, we never thought that this passion project of ours would lead us here today. That website being acquired back in 2022, created space for another little project – Little Falu. A plant-based tiny house that’s available for people to stay and explore what the Northeast of Tasmania has to offer.
So this brings us to the present day. Thank you for being here, and I hope that through our plant-based recipes we can spark that passion inside of you to cook with a full heart every time, no matter how big or small it is.
